Another question for the gurus on here. I've just had a new ring gear welded on the air cooled converter of my '55 Fairlane and I have bought a replacement stamped flex plate to replace the rattly riveted original. I now need to know if this assembly should be balanced before fitting to the car, ( there are what appears to be factory fitted balance weights welded to the converter ) . |
