I'm wondering if my car may be missing a couple pieces of rubber weatherstripping.

Whenever I wash the car the inside of each door panel gets soaked.  Both doors.  (55 Fairlane Club Sedan)

This is at the front/top of the door panels directly under where the windshield wraps around, getting the panel wet down to the window cranks.  About a foot square area on each door.

Is there supposed to be some rubber weatherstripping on the door top surface where it meets the underside of the windshield framing?  That would seem like it would divert the water to the front of the door so it could roll down.

It's been this way since I got the car 2 years ago.

Thanks, in advance.
