I bolted the bracket for the plug wires on the left side of the engine to a bolthole behind the head before I put the engine in but I am trying to figure out where the right side brack is supposed to bolt to. I tried the rear exhaust manifold bolt but that did not seem to work out too hard to get a wrench on the bolt with the bracket there.

Here's a photo that might help.  Not stock brackets, but stock locations.

The ones with the square grommets mount on a boss at the rear of the block, just below the rear head bolt.  One of the rectangular ones mount to the right of the distributor (viewed from the front of the engine) to a boss on the block.  The other mounts to the rear most bolt on what is essentially the intake surface of the left head.  You will probably have to remove the distributor to get at this one.
