Take care when installing the new seal, that it goes in straight & seats properly or it will leak again.

You will have to remove either the pump or the oil pan if I remember correctly.

The oil pipe from the pan to the pump is leaking at the pipe junction to the pump. I want to replace that large o ring. Can the pump stay in place if I loosen up the pipe at the pan or is best to remove the pump. Doing an oil change so no oil in the pan at this time. Thanks in advance Richard
