hi there

i'm sure you fellas can answer these two questions.

i've had the carb refurbished and it came back with an electric choke which i'm happy with but what do i do with the port which connected to the heat riser. do i block it off or connect it to that tube which leads to inside the air filter?

whats bugging me is that i believe theres a vacuum passage in the carb that draws air from the heat riser thro the choke housing and if i just block it off i may upset the calibration.

question 2 just inboard of the primary throttle lever i've got 2nd lever with an adjusting screw which bears on the throttle lever. does this in some way connect to the auto transmission and how do i set that screw?

i'm new to motoring and my Chilton auto repair manual does not show that 2nd lever

thanks very much

stuey
