Hello- I'm planning to send a camshaft out to be reground. I will also be sending a set of lifters along to be resurfaced, as well. The camshaft is of the FoMoCo cast iron variety (EDB). I have a very nice cast iron set of lifters, and a set of the steel. I read in the Y-block book the cast iron lifters were only used early on, and then superseded by the steel lifters (because of camshaft wear issues). Would it be wise to have the steel set resurfaced as opposed to the cast iron set? T.I.A.
BOO- YA!!!
