I'm building a hotrod 1930 coupe. It of course must be a y block. I have a 1959 292 block that is already 60 over but sonics well. It wil have a 4-71 blower on a ybloke manifold. I currently have 5 sets of heads to choose from, a set of g heads, a set of 113 heads, a set of c heads, a set of ecl-b, and a set of c1te heads. I'm leaning toward the c1te heads as I am going to fit with hardened seats, new valves and as such and can do bigger valves at the same time. These heads will give me the big chambers I need to give me plenty of room for the boost. I have a good forged crank ground for scruby journals for the h beam rods. What advice can you give me about my choices? Thanks to all. MIKE

113 for sure, when you check the compression you will find it with in reason for a supercharged engine.
 

I would make sure whatever you use is posted. The 113s are and I believe the 471s are as well.

A 292 with Pistons flush with the deck will run at about 9:1 comp. which still leaves room for 5psi boost depending on cam.
However the 113's may flow better at 5500/6000.
But personally if you can afford it, get a set or aluminium heads which flow better and tolerate higher compression.

With 113 heads, you'd be at about 8.5:1 with flat tops in a .060 over 292.  Everything else the same, compression will increase with an overbore but you can fine tune the ratio slightly with the deck height or even shaving a liltle off of the pistons, if you didn't want to splurge for custom pistons.
