Some guy on another website emailed me about my bad box on my 1955 Ford Customline. He said that all 1949-1956 Ford cars were the same and could use any of them from these years (said..the '56 was a shorter shaft with a deep dish wheel). He said...they were Gemmer rack and sector boxes.  Claims they were pretty tough/troublesome boxes unless someone overtightened the adjustment screw.

What do you think????? All input appreciated!!!!
