I liked the VA mounts. I used a Powermaster 100 amp alternator (the CASCO t-Bird unit I had would not fit) which fit the first crank pulley and water pump. The Sanden AC comp went to the second crank pulley and I spaced the PS to the third. All have been trouble free for almost 2 years. The newer compressors have very little drag on the engines. I did not use a VA unit in the car.

not very good at this. but may be of interest. I cut the vintage air bracket and welded part to the front engine mount then bolted on the remainder. did not like spacers and extra long bolts. stuey stu

Anyone used the 3G Alt from a 2000’s Taurus with any of the alt/compressor brackets from vintage air or classic air? Or what did you use for a 3g alt and a Sanden compressor under it?
