OK, First of all it is much easier if you DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE IT IS HARDER TO READ AND IT SEEMS LIKE YOU"RE YELLING.

As far as your questions:

1. not sure on this one, so I'm not gonna guess

2. t-bird balancer is longer/deeper to allow for t-bird cross member and has 2 sheaves+ its about 500 BUCKS, YEAH CRAZY PRICE, HUH? Oh, sorry now I was yelling.

3.T-Stat inlet is different on t-bird because the hose and radiator are level with the intake manifold and come straight in. And also hood clearance.

hope this helps.

1) read where these engines had less compression, displacement & horse power and therefore less shock or vibration coming from the crankshaft and balancer/dampner not needed.   Don't know if that is true or not.

2) longer as stated and also T-birds have a thick or deep timing cover the water pump mounts on extending the front of the engine a couple of inches

3) straight as stated - the top of radiator is nearly level with the t-stat housing

Joe, the T'  bird timing cover is heavier, same casting as some trucks, only because the front mount on the trucks and the T 'Bird stabalizer are mounted to it. The water pump is moved forward with a 1" spacer. The cover is really no deeper than the pass car unit, although it's heavier.

Birds also have different side motor mounts different oil pan a different drivers side ex manifold different generator mount different dip stick, fuel pump, road draft tube and of course rocker arm covers.  CTCI ( the T bird Club) knows volumes about this kind of thing, when they are trying to differentiate between two $150,000 restorations for the best in show trophy anything that can separate the cars is worth knowing.
