I have a correct teapot carbs and intank for a 56 Thunderbird with a 312 y-block ... at present I have not install it. My distributor is 56 with the 2 vacuum lines. Can I change the vacuum advance to the 55 type or do I need to buy a 57 distributor.

Iintake number is  ecg 9424-b carbs are ecj 9510-a-b  list-1434  ecj 9510 aa list 1437  newly rebuilt tp spec ..... I have the advance vacuum for a 55 distributor ... I would have to buy the 57 distributor with the vacuum advance on it ... which is not cheap if you the right one for a thunderbird w/tac ... Greg
