I got some wrenches too. I got those that have an open end and a ratchet box end on the other end. I've wanted some for years but was too cheap to buy them. Also my nephew got me a wood plaque that has my car on it, a Ford blue oval (which my '56 does not have anywhere) and my town etc. for car shows. Ya just can't beat tools. Damn, a guy is soooo easy to buy for!

I made copies of an order page from my Concours Parts catalog, penciled in about 3 pages and handed it over to the Mrs last month in front of the whole family and just said... "here's my list if anyone cares..." got the following: chrome V emblem for the trunk lid, complete with plastic insert... weatherseal for the trunk valve cover decals speaker for the dash radio AND finally got it started... few problems as discussed in the tech section of this forum... but, overall a great Christmas for the Ford this year (57 F500 Tudor, red/white, 272)... thanks for all the help guys, and best of the new year to each of you! Mark

Well.............all I got for Christmas was a lump of coal. So, I put it in the shop stove and heated the place a little while I worked on the race truck! Did Tim say he was bringing the new crank over today! There is a Santa after all!!! Happy holidays to all..........

Looks SWEET! Here's a picture, or two, of the '55 T-Bird engine I'm working on, should have the new dizzy and balancer next week. Alan, I'm looking forward to some more pics of your engine bay.

ok, so I got some tools too. And I got my engine and fresh aod trans install done today with the newly added finned valley cover, nested under the rare "red" thunder aluminum intake. Gonna start it in the morning and see if THIS tranny stays together! Almost forgot, check out the new air cleaner with yblock emblem. (Duplicate of the one on the glovebox.)

55Birdman (12/26/2008) I got a new set of wrenches. Does that count as Y block stuff?I got more wrenches too! And the first thing they will touch is a "Y" so I do think that counts. I'm going to need more tool box now, my B-day isn't till April.
