pintoplumber (2/6/2009) Tim, I watched the video. I should have your gearing for parade driving. Not so good for racing though.I once used it to tow the JCs Santa float in our Christmas parade, put it in low range 1st gear and with the hand throttle on the dash about 2000 rpm was a good walking pace. No need to do anything but stear.
God Bless. Tim http://yblockguy.com/

Thanks, Charlie, for posting the picture. With the trailer in the background, it looks like the truck is a tri-axle. Hmmmmm. That's the tail end of my Bird visible behind the car.

The tri-axle illusion is a part of the reason I took that picture. I wish I had noticed the positioning of the trash can. I would have made it look like it was all being balanced on it. The other part of the reason is that it is just cool! Old race car being carried by an older truck.

John, what color is your 57 Bird? It appears to be similar to mine. Mine is 74 Lincoln Mark Dark Moondust Firemist metallic. Thank you, Charlie - Central Fl.

Charlie: It's Thunderbird Bronze, the original color for it. It has the supercharged engine, I have raced it in pure stock drag races. It was at Columbus in Charlie's pic because I loaned it to Gordon Payne to race in the Y shootout.
