I had this post over on the classifieds but didn't get any responses so I am posting it here, it appears that more people read this forum than the others.
I have searched for a heater control valve for a 57 F100 through several different sources, Macs, Dennis Carpenter, NPD and am coming up empty handed in my search for a heater control valve, the one that mounts on the inner fender.
Does anybody know a source of where I may be able to find one? Used would do as long as it doesn't leak.
NAPA has a rebuild kit for the auto ones, I don't know if it would work in a truck but the top of the truck control valve is all riveted on, I would need to drill rivets out and replace. It appears to be a lot of work for a leaky grommet around the shaft which is maybe 3/16" diameter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
