I recently got a part off e-bay that was off a early 60's F-100 for a pcv valve. It bolts to the pcv hole in the valley cover and has the small curved tube that comes off the side and angles up. I found a pcv valve that inserts inline to a rubber hose. My question is; do I need to run this line to the pcv port in the front of my Edelbrock carb, or can I use the vacuum port off the back of the intake manifold? I thought this would eliminate any possibility of sucking any oil as the factory baffle is still in place and holding the part I bought with the bolt used for the draft tube.  Thanks for viewing this and appreciate all your input.
