From what I've seen the Canadians aren't all that fast either. Even without the ice.

Lon, You can't even pick on me correctly at least MoonShadow knows how to spell. Besides, Canadians prefer seals, they can't move to fast on the ice! Rob

O.K. Lon,
I think we need to bring the Northern Hemisphere guys up to speed, Not sure on the laws up there guys, but down under Sheep bothering is still illegal and a chargeable offence... I read in a local newspaper that a local Brisbane man had been arrested for Sheep bothering and had fled the scene in a 56 Ford Victoria matching the descriptionof Lons ride.
Upon arrest and questioning the man had taken advantage of the poor sheep whom had its head stuck in a fence, the man was accompanied by a Canadian gentleman who asked if he too was allowed a turn and this was granted by his australian friend. The arresting officer released both the sheep and the canadian from the fence upon arrest of the australian man.
I know that us Southern Hemisphere Y blockers should stick together, But since we beat you in the cricket I cant resist...LOL
Regards
JG

Hey Lon Buddy! Don't worry about colour, I can paint that stroker motor myself! I hate to see your pride get hurt anymore than I have already destroyed it. Just get Mummeret to build me that new motor and I will make sure you cross the finish line first! (I'll even put an alarm clock in Bob's car so you don't fall asleep at the starting line again!) As for my address, should I forward it to you or directly to John Mummeret? Since you are going to all this trouble for a win, I'll be gracious enough to pick-up the freight. Rob

Thank you all for the kind words about Lynne. The guilt I am having is the fact that since returning from Columbus last year I have had 2 Y blocks rebuilt at a total cost of $%^@# ???. John, we all know the Canadians are fair game to poke fun at. However, you are NOT allowed to set traps or baits for them Quote "I thought Lon should have been thumped with a nightstick, What do you think, Rob". I would rather lose to Rob than buy my way to a win. Rob, Does John Mummert have your address? What color do you want the motor painted ?? Regards (Honest) Lon

Lynne: Lon is so lucky to have a wife who supports him so passionately in his hobby. Bless you, you are a prize indeed. I know of what I speak, my wife did not object to me going to a drag race without her, 6 hours away, on our wedding anniversary. Actually I was gone 3 days, the day before, the day of, and the day after our anniversary. She's a prize also. John

Lynne, I appreciate the nice comments and you guys will be extremely missed at Columbus. As far as me throwing the race to help heal Lon's pride, well I guess I can be bought for the right price ( Mummeret short block, stroker kit would be nice, nudge, nudge)! Anything to help a friend, just don't tell Lon, we wouldn't want him to know that the ONLY way he can beat me is if someone fixes the race. Rob
