Ive tryed some of that stuff Ive put oil on it now and leting it soak I was thinking if the oil dont help I may try puting some heat on the block is that a bad i deal All of this stuff has ben siting for 35-40 years

Itman: Penitrating oil and patience! Let it soak overnight & use the before mentioned methods. "Light" tapping can also be helpful.

I've had real good luck using a band type oil filter wrench and penetrating oil on 'em.... /Duck

Wrap the dist housing with several wraps of heavy duct tape (90 MPH tape). Then try to move it back and forth with a pipe wrench while spraying with PB blaster or WD 40. Once you get it moving a few light taps with a plastic mallet should get it out.

If you can get at it, I have found that light upward hits with a rubber mallet work quite well. Don't hit the vacuum canister, as tempting as it may be. It doesn't take much to brake it off.
