I took out the heads and valley pan this morning, ran the oil pump with a drill, very little dribble on the right side and the cylinder walls have enough scoring to cause the smoke it had.
I decided it is rebuild time, I called as machine shop I have delt with for years and he says no problem he is just finishing one, so here are my questtions:
the heads are marked ecz are they good heads?
the pistons are .030 and the blocked had a marking of d03 - 01, can the walls handle .060 without running super hot?
I have headers, although they have small tubes, and plan on using a tri-power set-up, can you recommend a good cam for me, it will be strictly street driven, not raced.
