Deuce: Is that your car for sale on Fordbarn? If so, why didn't you put it on the swap page here? There were several guys that seemed interested in it. Maybe one of them would want it.

the day after i brought it home, took it to a big car show and just had a ball showing it including 27 years of dirt still attached. next, to actually hear it come to life again really gave me a great deal of satisfaction. kinda washed it up, cleaned the interior and now am not sure what the next step for it is.

If your not into racing the car, how hard would it be to hang some mufflers or baffels in the headers and put it on the street. with new radiator and fans you should be able to cool it. Any ideal of what the compression ratio might be? Most of all find what is the most fun for you to have with the car and enjoy it. Just emagine pulling in at the local car hang out one Saturday night!

yblock32deuce (12/4/2009) the question is , what to do with it.Well.... it is built for drag racing... I'd leave it like it is but take lots of pictures from every angle imaginable so that future restoration or repair can be made more easily.

any and all of my plans, include keeping all of the race patina, decals, lettering on the car.am torn between documenting , photographing all lettering, etc and then repairing the quarters, and lower front fenders then hopefully putting it back like it is, or just accept it cleaned up, which I have done and leave it in its orginal condition. actually even after a 27 year nap it doesnt look all that bad. encourage any and all thoughts from you guys. thanks

thank you, it was kinda incredible to find it,interesting more to bring it home, clean tank, replace a pump and fuel lines and after checking bearings, hear it run. now the question is , what to do with it. right now , it is a beautiful piece of garage art.

Hope you keep the car's race paint patina even if you convert it to a street car.
