Here are the results from the weekend. I was only 8 mph slower than the next class up. Compare E/PP to D/PP. http://www.scta-bni.org/El%20M...

Corene and I have had a great opportunity to have a number of Y-Blockers visit while they were on the left coast. Haven't met anyone who I wouldn't invite back. If you come, we will treat you so many ways you are bound to like one of them (my dad's old saying).

Charlie Mc, You have to watch out for what you wish for. I hereby extend an invitation to come visit, help prep the race truck at home and pit crew at a race, complete with airport shuttle if landing in Fresno. Just let me know...............Next race is May 2010. Charlie you are to nice. First you give Tim an adrenaline rush of a life time and now you extend an invitation to us to come visit. Better watch out you may have a big pit crew. If CA was a lot closer to IN I would be there for sure. Bing

Pete, At the last race there were five spins and all stayed wheels down. One of my friends went through the lights backwards at 207 mph. Most of the cars with a low center of gravity would give the driver some confidence during a spin. This 57 Ford pickup just doesn't qualify for a confidence builder. If I were in a spin, I would definitely want an ejection seat!!! Aussiebill, Yes, I am listening. I think Tim's adrenalin level is still quite high. Actually, I am his biggest fan and nothing would make me happier than to see Tim's name in the record books too. Don't worry, in pilot jargon, I'm still left seat.

Hey Charlie, is that a "G" clamp on the rollbar [inline with Tim's shoulder] or is it the handle for the ejector seat??

bloodyknucklehill (11/17/2009) BTW how do you like the car club you had to join to make your passes? lol....They are a bunch of great guys, I had a little trouble getting to run (missed the rookie meeting on Fri) and they fought for my right to run. Also since I didn't get to run on Sat. one of the starters, you can see and hear him in the video, made sure I got two runs in on Sun. I'm still going over each run in my head, I know just what I'm gonna do next May to break Charlies record.
