Was reading some posts about point gap and dwell, and began pondering an upcoming task... changing points and condenser on my W&H DuCoil.
Puting a meter on only one coil to check dwell is theoretically gonna give me status of the points it fires, and I will have to attach the meter to the other coil to check status of the other set of points... right? If this is correct, I wonder how much variation if any is tolerable between the two dwell readings (non-race application).
Theoretically, one set of cylinders could be firing more advanced/retarded than the other four if the dwells arent synchronized... right?
Any thoughts?
Cheers... Brian
