I seen a picture of a Y block in craigslist and it has a cannister oil filter and 272 style valve covers and its advertised as a 292 or 312,I contacted them and they said it came out of a 64 dumptruck but it looks like a 272 to me.  Was the cannister oil filter used past 57 and if I were to look at it what will tell me its a 292 or 312.
