Okay, this is going to sound stupid but, I am assuming the overdrive kickdown switch, and attached wires, are only present if you have the overdrive transmission, not just a regular Fordomatic? If that's NOT the case and they're on every vehicle, where is it located? I've started the BASIC rewiring and I only have one wire(as of now) coming from the negative part of the coil (goes to the distributor).

ALSO, there's a white, AND RED, wire that goes to the original temp sensor, no? If so, what should I do with these, now I've hooked up a new (mechanical) Temp sensor/gauge, and they're not needed?
