Can anyone tell me what was the number (T86 or whatever) for the basic 3 speed tranny in a 55 Ford Fairlane V8? Also the number for the 3 speed overdrive same car? I have a 3 speed Ford-o-matic which I am changing to a standard 3 speed and just want to know what I'm using. The automatic works fine, I just want a change.
