I have been having problems when logging in, after looking at a few post it would hang up my explorer. If I didn't log in I could view several fine. I could also go anywhere else on the internet with no problems, only this site would hang me up. That problem appears to have gone away but I tried several times last night to install some photos and it would take to long and fail. Has anybody else experienced problems lately or is through my server?

Hey I thought it was my computer all this time, doing the same thing, if I'm logged in I can't get to the forum site but I can go anywhere else in the YBF site and open right up. If I log off and come back I can go anywhere on the site. Must have a scrub virus!

I've had my problems too. On a few occasions I've made posts with pix and a lot of text and when I go to spell check the thing locks up and then shuts down loosing all that I have entered. Only here, but I love this place so much I keep coming back.

Thought it was only me...I've always had problems, especially when logged in. Posting is very difficult and nearly impossible if you add a pic and are slow to type( Barry-two fingers, here). ..locks up and you have to shut down and try again. But all that said , it's still the best site!!! I have had problems occasionally with lock up, and I don't post pictures. Sometimes I get a message "Bad response from server", and as others, I can go to another site. I got a PM this morning from a guy who can't log in, and I tried to answer him and couldn't. I don't know enough about computers to help him.

Its definately the best place to be. I tried last night again to answer this and post a few pictures and it failed on my reply without pictures. I think HRM and the scrub guru's have bought into microsoft and are trying to shut our communication down, as Jerry's shirt implied "Were Back" and they are scared.

I too run into a random problem where the site just stands still and eventually logs me out. Seems to last 20-25 minutes when it does happen but I can go to other sites while the YBF site is standing still. When the site does come back to life I find that I am logged out. Only happens once or twice a week but the problem does invariably show back up when least expected. Because I typically only log in during the mornings, this is when I experience the ‘site inactive’ or ‘standing still’ problems but from the sounds of it, there is a some kind of a problem that is occurring around the clock. In talking to Jim about this in the past, it seems to be related to the host server and not the site code itself but there’s no active monitoring of the site for that specific problem. On my end, I’ve started a log of the dates and times this happens to me. Likewise, I’ll suggest the same of you that are having lockup problems with the YBF site in keeping a log of the dates and times this occurs. This may help in isolating the problem. Collecting data for a couple of weeks and posting it back on this thread may help in finding a solution to the problem.

Go to messages. On the left you will see a block for "Empty PM Folders". Click that, then click the box on the right of the "deleted items" folder. The click "empty selected" at the bottom of the page. Hope this helps. Chuck in NH
