Block was a 272 now bored to 292, lucky it wasn't taken out any bigger or it would be right into the cracks.I checked for cracks before sending it to be machined but virgin metal is a lot easier to see faults.Maybe a result of overheating as this block did not have the extra cooling holes between the cylinders. I drilled these before the trip to the machine shop.
