walking thru the parking lot at my daughter's softball game tonight, I was disgusted to hear the sound of an American icon... a new vette!  sure, it had a nice lumpy idle, but then as it drove off, it sounded so pathetic!  A "soprano" voice, not a nice bass rumble more fitting of "America's sportscar"!  my bone stock 272 thru Cherry Bombs sounds like it has more hair than that vette did...!

New cars... puke! most look like jelly beans and the rest are pretty much just plain ugly, with all their plastic parts and fuel efficiency!  and they sound like sewing machines, with their smooth, docile idle...

anyway, give me steel... rusty or otherwise... and a throaty growl, then I'm driving a CAR!!
