Frank. Sorry to hear about your back. I trust that your shipping that block to me didn't get you in that condition and that your back giving up is just something that came to the forefront. Speaking of the block, I've given it the once over and it appears to be an excellent candidate for the EMC project. Good thing you crated it like you did as there were a couple of boards pretty damaged from what looks like forklift handling but the block came through like a real trooper. Good job on the crate.Just take it easy and get better soon.

Ted, Wasn't really the block that did it, I was loading a trailer for my church when i felt something pop, think that was it. My Son built the box and helped me load it, couldn't have done it without him. I am extremely glad to hear that the condition is as good as I thought. Did you contact Camarillo. please let him get involved, He will be an excellent convert for the Y Block cause if we can get him Aboard. He used to race them back in the '50s and likes them. He's also brighter than most.

Frank, Hope you get better soon, unfortunately we all think we're 25 years old when we try and lift stuff, but we sure learn fast! Rob

Guys Thanks to all of you. surgery is Fri Morning. Dr sounded like it was no Big deal, Said he does 300 plus a year!! Only hassle, aside from the cost, is I can't lift anything over ten lbs for a couple of weeks. That sucks.

Frank, I hope your surgery goes well. But, you know if it slows you down a tenth or two it may be just the edge I need. Get well soon.

New Punk, Well for me it not thaaaaat far away, only about 15 years as I just turned 40. Now I don't consider myself old (mentally I just turned 12:blink but I will admit how much has changed in 15 years. I used to be able to party round the clock, now it takes me a week to recover, I used to think I was strong as a bull and now I'll feeling the effects of some of the stupid things I used to try myself without asking for help. I guess the old cliche is true about "if I only new then, what I know now"! Oh well I had fun and still am having fun, it just hurts a little more! Rob
