20 year storage my a**. I saw that car at teh CVA convention in St Charles, IL about 7 or 8 years ago. Car has also been to other conventions, and featured in CVA newsletter....unless, god forbid, there are two of those monstrosities!

Buttugly. This is what happens when you combine a bag of amphetamine, large tube of super glue, and getting lost in a wrecking yard for three days.

If we weren't so PC this would be a spot for an ethnic slur Reminds me of the "Jitney" jeep's in the Phillipines or the log trucks and busses in Thailand. Chuck in NH

Guys.....careful that car was built in Australia and during that time "to trim out" a car as that one was the "in thing" to do. It is a 58 model with right hand drive.

I just threw up in my mouth a little. Looks like someone just called JC Whitney and said "4 of everything please!" Square headlights, crushed velvet interiors, 8-tracks, sky-jackers, and van conversions all come to mind as other things that were "in" at one point also.

Tim, guess what? These were 57, 58 Customline models and a few of our aussie migrant generation liked to adorne them a little? i guess from their homeland. We lovingly cringed but appreciated the work that went into them, the son of the orig owner uncovered it from shed a few years back and got it going. In hindsite it is probably inline with some current kustoms of today. Regards bill. The one mentioned previously was built and owned by charlie carauna and joe pirotta.
