I don't own an M16...there was no ethnic connection to that word back in the day. I guess everyone has different taste. I get a kick out of some of these big 4 door cars with 22" wheels with three big spokes. I used to like customs and still do, but I prefer a stock appearing car.

Likeing them is not the issue. Its their car and they do put in a LOT of work to make them like that. My pals wouldn't be caught dead with fender skirts, a continental kit or dingle berries. We were much too KOOL for that. Chuck in NH

Chuck, remember the edsel, then years later they are sought after, like an aqquired taste? well, i think of these old customs as examples of the car hobby from the 50,s and not many survived! I can remember some of the migrant car guys used to get these 56 -58 customlines and fit the tail fins off dodge and chrysler royals, on top of rear fenders, batmobile style, and that looks ok, doesnt it?  i think i,m lining myself up here for some good shots? ha,ha.
