Great idea. Miller and Mummert have to be on the first round short list of inductees.

Fellas, that sounds great! And how about an International Y Block Museum? We could put in Dennis Carpenter's overhead cam parts/setup, Weslake heads, VR57 parts and setup, cross sections of the Y block, 3 deuce setups, Hilborn fuel injection, all the differfent valve covers, Eaton's EMC engine, and on and on. That's just a few parts. Now what about the cars? We could... Hey, wait a sec, our cars aren't museum pieces! Come to think of it, neither are the parts! We run our cars flat out, and flog our motors something fierce! Anywho, I would make the annual trip to Mecca for the Y block museum...and to see the y block hall of fame

You can have the car, I'll just take his parts, I think he already has his own Y block museum of parts.

I nominate Karol Miller, John Feistritzer and Jerry Christenson. Maybe it could be broken down to racecars, unusual parts, people. Maybe even unusual people. Most of us would qualify for the latter. We would probably need a moderator so people couldn't post pics of their hum drum cars even though they are prized to them.

Lon, you would have to go in the hall of fame for the most travelled Y Block enthusiast. and we could start with a wax figurine of you for the museum.
