Yes Lon, I guess I could imagine what the Canadiens would do to a wax figure of you, But we could ask for their lighters and matches at the door.

Thanks Bill ( Maniac ) for the thought ,but can you imagine what some Canadians (RB ) would do to a WAX statue of me ????? I would hate to think ???? Can you imagine having a " Y -Block Hall of Fame ".Maybe someone could mention to the Henry Ford Museum about having a Y-Block section ??? I have been lucky enough to have been there a few times and they are always changing things around . If only Madam Tussauds (wax museum) and the HFM could get together ?? Life like statues of Curtis Turner ,Fireball Roberts etc, etc, .What about 10 or 20 replica race cars ??? I want to buy a ticket NOW . Lon

My nomination for the Hall of Fame would be the driver who likely had the most success racing Y Blocks, the late NASCAR driver, Curtis Turner. Just for the record, in 56-57 running in the Convertible division only, he won 33 races! And in 56 in a Customline H.Top he also won the longest race of the season, the Southern 500 at Darlington. He out distanced the 2nd place Chrysler 300-B by 2 laps!!

Lon, you would have to go in the hall of fame for the most travelled Y Block enthusiast. and we could start with a wax figurine of you for the museum. He does look well travelled! doesnt he??

I nominate Karol Miller, John Feistritzer and Jerry Christenson. Maybe it could be broken down to racecars, unusual parts, people. Maybe even unusual people. Most of us would qualify for the latter. We would probably need a moderator so people couldn't post pics of their hum drum cars even though they are prized to them.

You can have the car, I'll just take his parts, I think he already has his own Y block museum of parts.
