I'll be up on the hill with the trucks. I have 4 of Jerry C's "what the heck is a y block" tee shirts in extra large for sale. I think I was supposed to ask $15.00 for them. I'll have water and sodas at the y-blocks forever tent. Going drag racing friday afternoon. I think we leave around 2pm.

As usual I'll be at R20-21. Hope to have a 51 F1 pickup for sale. Nice restored with good running flathead V8.

Jerry, we have had such a difficult time trying to get together down here in Frederick County, how about up in Carlisle??

Any chance you could bring that camshaft?

Dan, it's already packed. Should be there about noon tomorrow. If I'm not at my site I'll be either at the 428 Cobra Jet tent or Christiana Muscle Cars site. Looks like the 51 F1 will not make it, trailer problems.

Ford Carlisle - nice change from last year, because we didn't have much rain (none up until the time I left the area around 3 pm) at all. The skies were pretty clear although it was pretty hot.

Dennis Leeking (pinto plumber) had a brand new trophy that he had just taken at the drags!! Dennis - post those time slips with those great reaction times! Wink

Good to see Tom and Jerry too....picked up a nice cam from Jerry and got a bit of great Mcculloch info from Tom. -- thanks fellas.

Hooked up with Mike out of whiteford, Md, to score a set of 471 heads ready to go. Nice parts and good prices. He did tell me that he spoke with John Mummert just the day before to order a set of aluminum heads. Mike have logged on to the forum yet???

Good day - especially since my dad came up from Walkertown, NC, the day before, and we made a go of it most of the day together at the show. He enjoyed it, but he did complain a little bit about the overwhelming number of Mustangs. He kept calling it the "Mustangs at Carlisle" show...Tongue. I don't think he minds Mustangs, but the show did seem to be lopsided a little bit. He likes full size Fords and F100s.

Did see a 56 Crown Victoria that had a couple of teapots under the hood. Looked good. I will have to post a photo or two...

Was there for all 3 days with my son who had his 67 Mustang there for the first time. We have been working on his car for the last 6 years and he has attended at least 10 shows with me an the 56 fairlane. I never smiled as much looking in the rear view miror of the 56 and seeing his 67 stang behind me all the way from Long Island.

A great weekend had by all, both cars ran great.
