Ford Carlisle - nice change from last year, because we didn't have much rain (none up until the time I left the area around 3 pm) at all. The skies were pretty clear although it was pretty hot.
Dennis Leeking (pinto plumber) had a brand new trophy that he had just taken at the drags!! Dennis - post those time slips with those great reaction times!
Good to see Tom and Jerry too....picked up a nice cam from Jerry and got a bit of great Mcculloch info from Tom. -- thanks fellas.
Hooked up with Mike out of whiteford, Md, to score a set of 471 heads ready to go. Nice parts and good prices. He did tell me that he spoke with John Mummert just the day before to order a set of aluminum heads. Mike have logged on to the forum yet???
Good day - especially since my dad came up from Walkertown, NC, the day before, and we made a go of it most of the day together at the show. He enjoyed it, but he did complain a little bit about the overwhelming number of Mustangs. He kept calling it the "Mustangs at Carlisle" show...
. I don't think he minds Mustangs, but the show did seem to be lopsided a little bit. He likes full size Fords and F100s.
Did see a 56 Crown Victoria that had a couple of teapots under the hood. Looked good. I will have to post a photo or two...
