So i have a 292 out of my 59 F100 and according to the head chart i found it should have 471? heads which other than the big combustion chambers aren't bad seeing as it will have big valves and according to people on here say they have a well designed lower port. So my question is are there any common restrictive spots on these heads that i should address when i build it. the motor will likely go in a 4x4 truck so im more concerned with low end torque than high rpm horsepower and will rarely rev about 4000 rpm. i figure ill look at the bowls and clean up any obvious casting debris and check the ports for any interference and try to match them the best i can without enlarging the ports to much and might clean up the chambers slightly. Is there any problem spots on these head i should also address??
