My plan is to drain the current oil, then throw a couple bottles of Marvel Mystery Oil into it and let that run through it, drain that out then replace the plugs, wires and points and see what happens.. Oh and check the PCV valve too (Thanks for the tip Tim).. Taking stock of some other stuff the brakes need a total rebuild and I need to find the correct factory steel wheels for it.. the two on the front were right but the rears are 16" white Mojocks with huge tires on them and it looks stupid..

Pulled the valve covers off the other day.. Wasn't expecting everything to be this clean under there..

Honestly i can't believe this engine has sat for twelve years.. I think i'm just gonna replace the plugs and wires and see if I can fire it up..

Yeah i think it's a C2AE engine.. I had to point that out to the guy I bought it from when he gave me the whole, "I think the motor is from a T-Bird" story.. It's kinda funny though cause he tried to tell me it was from a 62 T-Bird

You even got a Ford alternator on it.   Looks like the engine may have been swaped at one time, you have the wrong front motor mount.  If you like maybe Charlie has another pass. side manifold for you, just to give it a cleaner look without that patch on the old one.

Yeah that helps me out alot having that already done.. I'm sure it'll sound awesome to.. Upon further inspection they have Glass-Packs on them and pretty short pipes so it should have a mean roar.. Got some better pics today of some of the rust-out..

And for the good surprise I got today.. I can't believe I missed this when i was checking it out before i bought it but it's already been converted to an alternator..
