I recently removed, cleaned and reinstalled the rocker arms with success thanks to you guys. I also removed the distributor to test oil pump. When I reinstalled the distributor I made sure that I was TDC and the rotor was pointing to #1 on the cap. The engine starts ok but has a rough idle and backfires at acceleration. At higher RPMs it smooths out but with little power. When I recheck the TDC and rotor pointing to #1 was off by a 1/4". Is it possible that I am a tooth off ? Will the engine start and run OK when it is a tooth off or would it really be missing and hard to start? Thnks- AR
