I called Holly Tech. line today and they don't have a modern day carb to replace the 4000 Teapot, his suggestion was to get a 57 Intake manifold, they do have a direct fit for the 57.

Anybody have any input on this, I really would like to replace the Teapot, Pony wants $600.00 for a 4000 with $100.00 core charge. What I've read about the Teapots is I don't want to put that kind of money into it and be subjectable to the same problems down the road.

My curent Teapot is a 4BCarb  and according to the manifold numbers is mounted onto a 2BCarb manifold. Maybe an adapter plate there, I haven't removed it yet but the Holly guy said there may be an adapter plate but he couldn't reccomend one,

Is there a adapter plate available or is the 57 mianifold the way to go?
