I just bought a rebuild kit from MACs and will rebuild mine.
It will be used
without the fan mounting flange that is pressed on the front and instead will have a taper-fit pulley and bushing installed. I may need to cut a keyway in the shaft for the bushing (although I believe it might not need it)
Macs sells the rebuild kits for about $15 + shipping.
The "High-mount" truck pumps are a LOT more scarce!
If you need one of those for a 272/292, PM me.
I have a new (A1 Cardone rebuilt) that I decided not to use. (+ high mount fan, bearing, damper, etc)
Cheers,
Rick
Oh, and btw, Rock Auto still has A1 Cardone reman pumps for Y-blocks http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/
