Noticed an inquiry re freeze plugs over in technical. Just for info, it was pointed out in a recent blurb in a Mustang magazine, that the term "freeze plug" is misleading. Correctly they are "core plugs" used in the original casting procedures. They were not intended or guaranteed to protect an engine from freeze up. So, since it's November, time to check your anti freeze coolant...
