Ted Thanks for the offer, but before you spend time on this, I'll try something else. At work we have a "CMM" measuring arm that I'm just doing some training on (I'm the student). With a bellhousing I should be able to capture all the points required assuming that the trans input side is accurately referenced to the crank c/line. Maybe it would be better to lug a bare block to work and do the back of it, that way the crank saddle area could be done more easily relative to the bell dowels and bolt holes? If this works,I should be able to save the info to a file we could share. I've been away from the site for awhile, moved to a newer home outside the city....new improved shop.....lost track of the eng. masters thread. Any luck with that plan?
