You should be able to get a universal cable at the parts store & cut it to length & crimp the end on it & be good to go. I did.

Try a parts store. I have seen replacement inner cables somewhere, maybe there. They are cut to length. If you have a speedometer shop around, they should have one.

Google "Speedometer Cable", lots of hits. Also try NAPA and Advance Auto online as they might have it.

You guys should always put down what year and body style if you are looking for something. We can help a lot more if you do. I was going to look it up at NAPA and Advance Auto, but what vehicle????

Dennis Carpenter.com I would try the 49-59 Car catalogue first.

If I am not mistaken that is the 57 and later style with the clip. The car cables are all the sme after 57(most anyway) just different lengths. What is the overall length of the outer cable?49-56 cables which Carpenter sells are one length only of 70 inchs but they do not use the clip to hold the gear on.
