In 12 years of driving I never had a nail in a tire until last September. Since then I've had two more. The one I got last week is in a tire that is too worn for a patch but good enough that I was going to risk driving on it a while longer. Oh well. Hopefully that saying that things happening threes is true and it's now over for another 12 years.

Charlie

Have you been driving in any NEW construction areas? The first New house I bought in a new subdivision I started getting nails and screws in the tires for the first year we lived there, then nothing. I guess i had picked them all up.

Nope, though last week I did drive through a salvage yard because the vehicle I wanted parts from was all the way at the back and I wasn't going to carry my tools all the way back there and then carry the goods back. I'm reasonably sure that's where I got the last nail.
