Nope, though last week I did drive through a salvage yard because the vehicle I wanted parts from was all the way at the back and I wasn't going to carry my tools all the way back there and then carry the goods back. I'm reasonably sure that's where I got the last nail.

Charlie Have you been driving in any NEW construction areas? The first New house I bought in a new subdivision I started getting nails and screws in the tires for the first year we lived there, then nothing. I guess i had picked them all up.

In 12 years of driving I never had a nail in a tire until last September. Since then I've had two more. The one I got last week is in a tire that is too worn for a patch but good enough that I was going to risk driving on it a while longer. Oh well. Hopefully that saying that things happening threes is true and it's now over for another 12 years.
