I'm getting ready to drop a 292 in my 54 Ford Customline, and I had the pan off to make a repair on the rear main seal. Are 292 rod caps normally marked ECZ? My main caps are maked EBU. I was trying to see if there was a casting number on the crank or a stamped number, but all I could see on the crank was some random numbers, and a EC stamped into the last weight towards the main bearing. I'm still pretty sure this is a 292.
