I am a new member and would appercate any advise i can get. I have 1961 F-100 and am putting in a 292 with a four speed behind it. the problem is, is that i can't find where the engine is supposed to mount up there is one big moun inder the crank pully and that is it. There are none on the sides of the block and nowhere for them to go on the frame. the only other mounts are the trans. mounts. does the engine use these rather than having tradtional ones of the sides of the block? like i said any help i can get would be more that apperciated.
