I just finished rebuilding a 56 teapot(first one I've worked on since about 1960)and am having a problem, probably due to brain fade.I can't get it to run unless it's fully choked,so it's sucking air someplace.I've had it back apart 3 times and still can't see where I went wrong.Anyone have any suggestions of what to look for?

Paul: In your other post, you asked about tapping the A manifold. Did you put a PCV there? Try plugging the PCV hose and see if it will run without choking. You may have created a giant vacuum leak.

No John, that fitting I put in the manifold is for wipers and brake booster. If I get this thing running I'm going to put the PCV in the port in the rear of the carb base, but for now that port is plugged.
