No John,that fitting I put in the manifold is for wipers and brake booster.If I get this thing running I'm going to put the PCV in the port in the rear of the carb base,but for now that port is plugged.

In your other post, you asked about tapping the A manifold.  Did you put a PCV there?  Try plugging the PCV hose and see if it will run without choking.  You may have created a giant vacuum leak.

I just finished rebuilding a 56 teapot(first one I've worked on since about 1960)and am having a problem,probably due to brain fade.I can't get it to run unless it's fully choked,so it's sucking air someplace.I've had it back apart 3 times and still can't see where I went wrong.Anyone have any suggestions of what to look for?
