Any one know who makes a right angle speedo cable unit? I had a site in the past but can't find it.

Some time in the past I read that the 56 type angle drive will work in a 57 and later trans. Any one have any info on this?

Thanks

Paul:

I don't think there is a way to keep the gear in the '56 style unit.  The early transmissions had an internal boss that prevented the gear from falling out of the angle drive or cable.  Late trannies would not have that boss because they used a clip to hold the gear on the cable.
