Marv, i,m 100 percent sure they are std trans ring gears, auto trans are more teeth on bigger diameter and a lot thinnner,

I just counted the teeth on the 58 auto flex-plate for V8's and they are 148 teeth. You are correct in that the ones carpenter is selling are std trans ring gears or 6 cyl automatics.
